SPECIFICATION ━ Service Lines
Seven service lines operated from two UK sites. Each has a documented cycle from intake through graded dispatch, and each is covered under our Environment Agency T11 registration.
We receive router units in bulk, flash firmware to the required version using a TFTP and DHCP network boot method, clean each unit, pack it with the correct kit, and palletise by model for dispatch. The firmware flash runs in parallel across batches of up to 10 units simultaneously on an isolated Gigabit Ethernet network, delivering consistent versioning across every unit in a consignment.
Multiple models are in scope. Each model carries a different target firmware version. Each batch is processed and graded per model before dispatch. Units that fail grading are separated as BER and documented. A delivery note and grade summary accompanies every pallet.
This service is structured for recurring B2B supply to utility CPE operations. Weekly dispatch has run unbroken since June 2025 across 47 consecutive weeks. The largest single consignment processed was 922 units. Pass rate data is available per consignment on request. Signed delivery notes and batch documentation are retained for every dispatch.

We receive mesh network units from multiple supply sources. Units arrive with varied ISP branding. All are processed through the same firmware flash and grading cycle regardless of provenance.
Grading checks cover physical condition, firmware state, and functional verification. Units that clear all checks are classified as pass and packaged for dispatch. BER units are documented and separated. Each completed consignment includes a grading summary.
11,100 units have been processed through this service line to date, with a 94.0% pass rate. The 6.0% BER rate reflects the condition profile of stock received rather than a processing failure. All BER units are logged per consignment. Grade data is available per batch on request.
FIG. 04 ━ Mesh network refurbishment cycle: intake to dispatch
We receive mains power supply units alongside router and mesh hardware, and process each one through a working or faulty triage before packing and dispatch. Each PSU is tested on receipt, classified as working or faulty, coiled, and sorted into the appropriate output stream. Working units are packed alongside refurbished hardware. Faulty units are documented separately and dispatched in a dedicated faulty stream.
PSU processing runs as a parallel track within the same dispatch cycle as the associated hardware. When a consignment includes PSUs, they are processed and packed without extending the standard dispatch turnaround.
38,536 PSUs have been processed across three hardware categories: modem (19,881 units), router (16,025 units), and peripheral (2,630 units). Working and faulty volumes are available per consignment on request. PSU grading records are retained alongside the main batch documentation.

We source mobile handsets, carry out a full function test, then grade each unit against an A/B/C scale covering cosmetic condition and functional performance before release. The function test covers screen response, battery state, camera output, connectivity (mobile, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth), and biometrics where applicable. Each unit is tested, erased, and then graded before dispatch.
Data erasure is carried out using tooling aligned with NIST SP 800-88 Rev.1. Each erasure produces a certificate of destruction with the device identifier, timestamp, erasure method, and result. IMEI numbers are verified before resale. All output is B2B wholesale only. We do not sell directly to consumers.
Grade documentation and erasure certificates are available per consignment on request. This service line is live from 2026. Capacity is available from the point of first enquiry.
FIG. 06 ━ Mobile phone grading cycle: intake, test, erase, grade, dispatch
We source game consoles, grade each unit against an A/B/C scale covering cosmetic condition and functional performance, and carry out a functional test before release. The functional test covers controller connectivity, disc drive operation where fitted, storage read and write, network adaptor, and audio and visual output. Each unit that passes grading proceeds to data wipe.
Data wipe uses the platform holder's full reinitialisation procedure, not the quick reset option. All linked accounts are removed before reinitialisation. Where the console contains a removable storage drive, the drive is sanitised to NIST 800-88 standard as a separate step. An internal completion record is produced per unit. All output is B2B wholesale only. Refurbishment is carried out under our Environment Agency T11 waste exemption.
This service line is live from 2026. Grade documentation is available per consignment on request.

We refurbish small and large domestic appliances for B2B supply. In scope product categories are: small appliances (kettles, toasters, microwaves, blenders), large appliances (washing machines, dishwashers, ovens), coffee machines, induction hobs, and smart kitchen technology. Cooling appliances (fridges, freezers, and air conditioning units) are not in scope.
Each unit is visually inspected on intake. Cords and plugs are checked and replaced where required. Electrical safety testing is handled by a certified partner before dispatch: earth continuity, insulation resistance, polarity, and functional tests are run and recorded against the unit's serial number. Large appliances receive a functional cycle test. Units that fail electrical safety testing are held, documented, and not dispatched.
All domestic appliances supplied by Argentum are inspected in accordance with the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016. This service line is live from 2026. Volume enquiries are accepted from the point of first contact.
FIG. 08 ━ White goods refurbishment: scope, electrical safety, dispatch
We carry out GDPR compliant data destruction on consumer electronics hardware as a standalone service. This is for clients who need certified erasure without grading or resale. The service accepts handsets, mesh network units, routers, and other consumer electronics hardware.
Each unit receives erasure using tooling aligned with NIST SP 800-88 Rev.1. Each erasure produces a certificate of destruction with the device identifier, timestamp, method, and result. Units that fail to reach clean erasure state are flagged, held, and logged with a reason code before any further handling. Audit records are retained and available on request.
The service runs as a standalone engagement or as a component within a broader refurbishment contract. 118 units have been processed through this service line to date. Clients who need a single clearance run or an ongoing disposal contract should send a brief with device class, volume, and timeline.

FIG. 10 ━ Compliance posture
Compliance at Argentum is embedded in the operation, not documented after the fact. The registrations and standards below apply to every batch we process.
Argentum Tech is registered with the Environment Agency under waste exemption T11: repairing or refurbishing waste electrical and electronic equipment. All WEEE we handle is processed in line with the conditions of that registration and the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011. The T11 registration covers our full operational scope, including network hardware, mobile phones, game consoles, and domestic appliances. Verify registration at gov.uk.
Data erasure on all eligible units (mobile phones, game consoles, and standalone wipedown engagements) is carried out using tooling aligned with NIST SP 800-88 Rev.1 (Guidelines for Media Sanitisation). Each erasure generates a certificate of destruction with device identifier, timestamp, erasure method, and result. These records are retained and available on request.
All refurbished domestic appliances supplied by Argentum Tech are inspected and electrically safety tested by a certified partner in accordance with the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016. Earth continuity, insulation resistance, polarity, and functional tests are run and recorded against each unit's serial number before dispatch. Units that fail are held and not dispatched.
Every batch processed at Argentum carries a complete audit trail from intake through graded dispatch. Signed delivery notes, grade summaries, and erasure certificates are retained per consignment and available on request.
CAPABILITY ━ Expansion
If your hardware falls outside the service lines listed here, send a brief. We assess new classes against current facility capacity and advise on lead time and processing requirements.
